Privacy Policy
Finley Tracker Archive
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Information accessed
The application requests read-only access to Google Sheets through the Google Sheets API. It reads spreadsheet content needed to create snapshots and identify changes. It does not write to, edit or delete spreadsheet content.
How information is used
Spreadsheet content is intended to be processed for the sole purposes of creating dated archive copies, comparing snapshots and preparing change reports for the operator. The application is not offered as a public service and does not allow other users to browse the archived information.
Storage and sharing
Archive files and comparison reports are intended to be stored on the operator's privately administered homelab server. Reports may be emailed to the operator. The application does not sell personal information or use spreadsheet content for advertising.
Google access and revocation
Access is authorised through Google OAuth. The requested permission is the Google Sheets read-only scope. The account holder can review or revoke the application's Google Account access through their Google Account security settings.
Retention and security
Archived snapshots are retained by the operator on their private server. Access to that server and its backups is managed by the operator. No internet-facing archive or public browsing interface is intended.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the application's implementation or data handling changes. The revision date above will be updated when that happens.
Contact
For privacy questions about this personal application, contact the application operator using the developer contact address shown on its Google OAuth consent screen.
